Traffic is encrypted between your device and our server, using the VPN facilities iOS provides. What travels between those two points is not readable along the way.

No configuration, no server addresses to type in, no manual setup. One button connects and disconnects, and iOS shows the VPN badge while it's on.

Read the full policySaying we collect nothing at all would not be true, so we won't. The app sends back a small amount of technical information so that it can be kept working and so that subscriptions function. None of it describes your traffic.

Work through these in order. Toggle the connection off and back on. Switch network — from Wi-Fi to mobile data or the other way — because some networks and hotel or airport portals block VPN protocols outright. Check that the VPN configuration still exists in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. Then restart the device. If none of that helps, write to us and mention which steps you already tried.
Because it is the only route iOS gives an app for handling traffic. The prompt comes from iOS rather than from us, and every VPN app on the platform triggers it. You can remove the configuration at any time in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
No, and no VPN does. It encrypts the connection and changes the address you appear to come from. It does not undo accounts you are signed into, cookies already on your device, or anything you type into a form yourself. Treat any app that promises complete anonymity with suspicion.
Some overhead is unavoidable, since traffic is encrypted and travels further than it otherwise would. How noticeable that is depends on your own connection and on the network you are using.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → VaultVPN → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Tap Restore in the app, and check that the device is signed into the same Apple Account used for the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us with your App Store order ID — it is in the receipt Apple sent you.
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the purchase and choose the appropriate option. We cannot issue refunds ourselves — but tell us what went wrong, because if it is a bug we would rather fix it.
No. Not the sites you reach, not your DNS lookups, not the contents of your traffic, and no session records tied to an identity. The Privacy Policy states this specifically rather than as a slogan, and lists in full the technical data the app does report.
